Dear SCSO Friends, (Press Release)
SCSO Music Director, Founder and Conductor Donald Kendrick made the pro-active choice to undergo quadruple bypass heart surgery (and an ablation) at Mercy General on April 8th. He is currently resting at home and has begun the long road to recovery. In 28 years, Donald has never missed an SCSO concert. We all wish him a speedy recovery as we eagerly await his return to the SCSO podium.
We are delighted that Edwin Outwater has been chosen to conduct our May 4th Rodgers & Hammerstein celebration. Come join us!
