The SCSO is unique nationally in that it is the only Community Chorus among the 12,000 Community Choruses in the U.S. to have a collective bargaining agreement with its own professional symphony orchestra.
The large SCSO Team of 150+ dedicated singers and 55 professional orchestra players come from 7 different counties. During the past 26 years, SCSO Members have volunteered more than 1,000,000 hours to enhance the cultural life of our community.
